Rattlesnake Bite. Ouch!

Ouch! This little guy had a not-so-friendly visit with a rattlesnake. A rattlesnake bite to the face—a common place for a curious pet to be bitten—is life-threatening and needs immediate treatment.

Quick thinking on the part of his owners got him the emergency care he needed to save his life. This pup received life-saving anti-venom and stoically endured the tremendous swelling that came with the bite. After treatment the swelling subsided and our patient has returned to his normal activities.
