Ate a Scrunchee

Sometimes animals have an unusual sense of what's delicious. Take this handsome iguana, for instance. To him, a scrunchee—one of those colorful pony tail holders—looked good enough to eat. Problem was, the scrunchee obstructed his digestive tract.

Internal medicine specialist Dr. Santen and exotics doc, Dr. Fitzgerald teamed up to relieve the reptile's life-threatening discomfort. With an endoscope fitted with a "grabber", the vets were able to extract the culprit and the iguana is now living happily ever after!
