Laurie K. Pearce, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology)

Dr. Laurie Pearce grew up in Minnesota and received her DVM degree in 1981 from the University Of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. This was followed by an internship and residency in internal medicine with a special interest in neurology at The Animal Medical Center, NYC, NY 1983 - 1986. After 18 months at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA as a clinician in the neurology service, she moved to Florida in 1988 to complete a residency in neurology at the University of Florida. Dr. Pearce came to Denver in 1993 and worked in private specialty practice until 2002. For the past six years, she has been a member of the neurology faculty at CSU. Dr. Pearce has now returned to private practice as a neurologist at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Pearce is an avid hiker, enjoying trails in Colorado and as far away as Denali National Park. She has three great dogs -- two Golden Retrievers named Remy and Anne, and Roxie the Bernese Mountain Dog. A cat and horse round out her family.
