Laura White, DVM

Dr. White graduated from University of Tennessee where she lived with her partner, Mark, her beagle, Tony, and her two cats, Gary and Lucy. She’s most interested in Internal medicine, Neurology and Emergency Medicine. She is currently considering a residency. Dr. White grew up in the small town of Sandwich, NH. She did her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavior at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She graduated in 2005 and took a year to do research at the National Institutue for Health in MD, where she learned that hands-on care is more in line with her professional passions. She is excited to join the team at VCA AEVH after her experiences during her externship with the hospital last in the fall of 2009, in addition to being able to spend time with my sister, who currently lives in Denver. Her favorite activities include walking with Tony and Mark, reading trashy romance novels, kayaking, hiking, and beading.
