Melissa Moskowitz, DVM

Dr. Melissa Moskowitz was born and raised in a small town in rural Connecticut. After taking animal science classes through the agricultural program at her high school, Melissa decided to pursue her interest in veterinary medicine. She completed her B.S. degree in animal science at the University of Connecticut in 2005. After spending a year in Massachusetts working at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, Melissa traveled to Colorado for veterinary school. In May 2010, she received her D.V.M. degree from Colorado State University and is happy to be staying in Colorado for her 1 year internship at VCA Alameda East.

Professionally, Melissa has broad interests in internal medicine, oncology and emergency medicine. In her free time, she enjoys being active outdoors, including running, biking and hiking, watching movies, reading and spending time with her boyfriend Adam, dog Max and cat Oliver.
