Rebecca George, DVM

Dr. Rebecca George was born in Mobile, Alabama, but had the opportunity to live in Colorado and North Carolina while growing up. Ever since she was a little girl she has had a love for animals and has wanted to be a veterinarian, following at least partially in her father’s footsteps. In 2006, Rebecca completed a B.S. in Biological Sciences at North Carolina State University. She then went on to complete her D.V.M. at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Rebecca is very excited about her move to Denver, Colorado to participate in a one year internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. She enjoyed spending part of her childhood learning to ski in the Rockies, and cannot wait to have the mountains back in sight!

Her professional interests include Internal Medicine, with a very strong interest in Oncology. After completing the internship she hopes to continue on to specialize in one of these areas.

In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, running, cycling, hiking, camping, skiing and spending time with her Chocolate Lab, Bentley. She cannot wait to participate in all of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer, and Bentley can’t either. She also enjoys traveling and hopes to someday be able to see the world.
