Daycare & Boarding- This position works under general supervision of the Hospital Manager and Medical Director. This position will follow established procedures to ensure that pets receive safe and enjoyable boarding and daycare, and that clients receive efficient, expedient, and courteous service. Staff in daycare must have their attention on the animals and not be distracted by outside events. Client disputes and problems should be researched, and resolution should be attempted to be resolved within a reasonable time frame. This position will act as a liaison between the Animal Lodge, clients, and other departments of Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. All employment and OSHA polices must be adhered to at all times. Duties include:
Skills and Qualifications
Basic understanding of dog behavior
Some veterinary medical terminology and understanding
Strong organizational skills
Excellent client relations and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Self starter and team player

-Technicians for positions in the job functions of:
Overnight Technician- Full Time 11:15 pm to 7:45 am; full time must be available to work weekends and included a $1.50 shift differential
Floater Technician- Full Time must be able to be available for a flexible schedule between 7 am and 7 pm and available 7 days week.
