Quiet Recovery

Following surgery, your companion is continuously monitored in a quiet room, separate from the general recovery ward until they are fully recovered from anesthesia.

This service provides continuous monitoring with a certified technician in a more comfortable, quiet environment allowing your pet to receive undivided attention during the entire recovery period.

Once your companion is recovered, your veterinarian will decide whether she/he will be moved to a heated kennel in an area where the surgical technicians are present at all times, or in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where care will be provided by our ICU staff.

One of the patient’s guardians may choose to be with their companion during the recovery period until the patient is moved to either ICU or the surgical recovery area.
