Associate Program Staff

VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital has participated in the National Veterinary Intern and Resident Matching Program since 1993. These doctors are selected based upon several criteria, including personal integrity, exceptional recommendations and scholastic performance. This Program awards VCA Alameda East five premier graduate veterinarians who spend a rigorous and invaluable year working with our team of veterinarians and support staff.

Our associates are successfully integrated into clinical practice and carefully attend to the quality of patient care on which VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital prides itself. Weekly continuing education lectures and frequent rotations among various specialties are provided to these veterinarians. This high level of activity acts to heighten clinical proficiency in the diagnosis, treatment and management of our patients.

Teamwork and the value of collaboration in achieving clinical success is an underlying principle at our hospital. We are firm believers in TEAM MEDICINE and use this practice when dealing with our most challenging cases. VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is particularly proud of these outstanding veterinarians and the contributions they provide to our hospital.
